POLICE INTELLIGENCE.
TUESDAY.
The only business for transaction, was a female, a Ticket-of-leave holder, who had refused to reside with her husband, stating she preferred the Government discipline at the Factory, to his control; and a second female, also a Ticket holder, who had been found in possession of a bag, a joint of cooked meat, and a frying pan, and for the possession of which articles she could not account. The first was remanded until such time as her Lord and Master, who it was stated, was in a very distressed state of mind at her absence, had been seen—and the second was similarly dealt with until some enquiry was made, how she had bagged the swag.
