POLICE INTELLIGENCE.
WEDNESDAY.
MARY FAWKNER, a fascinating creature to such as who, like George the Fourth of unenviable memory, loved Fat, Fair, and Forty, and who had only been discharged from the Factory on the morning of the preceding day, was apprehended at an early hour of the evening, requesting a soldier to take a walk with her, or, as an alternative, if pedestrianism was’nt [sic] agreeable, to take her to his quarters. FAWKNER having, however, promised if let off, she would, instantly, be off to the bush. The Police Magistrate allowed her to brush being glad to get rid of the scrub.
