POLICE INTELLIGENCE.

PARRAMATTA QURATER [sic] SESSIONS

WEDNESDAY

JANE JONES, indicted for stealing a regular wardrobe full of female habblements [sic] from MRS. STEEP, of Church-street, in this town. The case was fully reported at the time of JANE’s Committal in our columns, and nothing new came out on the trial.—The prisoner pleaded that she had received them for services rendered by her to a man in the prosecutrix’s employ, who had been left in charge of the premises, and to whom she had acted as a housekeeper during his mistresses’ absence. Guilty—twelve months 3rd class Factory.
