POLICE INTELLIGENCE.
MONDAY.
CATHERINE TRAYNOR (bond), a washerwoman in the General Hospital, was charged with having attempted to break the head of a fellow prisoner, similarly employed, with a bottle—which being rather an innovation on the established method of “cracking a bottle with a friend,” it was deemed advisable to restrain such crack brain views of amity, by two months to the 3rd class in the Factory.
