AWFUL DEATH
During the short but furious storm on Saturday afternoon last, a married woman, named CUMMINS, was struck dead in the yard of the Parramatta Female Factory by the electric fluid. On the Monday previous, during the thunder storm, M’ROBERTS’ public house about a quarter of a mile from the Factory in the direction of the Broken-back Toll Bar, was penetrated by the fluid, which made its way through the roof, one floor, and having passed into the cellar, all danger was at an end.
