STEALING A WATCH
MARGARET RYAN, alias MARY ANN WALSH,* was apprehended on Thursday evening, charged with stealing a watch from Mr. REYNOLDS, of Pyrmont. REYNOLDS and his wife left their home, and the prisoner went into REYNOLDS’ bed-room and took the watch, which was found near where the prisoner was sitting. She had been seen by a neighbour to leave the house, and was in consequence followed by REYNOLDS. The prisoner was brought before the Police Bench yesterday, and remanded till this day.†
