POLICE INTELLIGENCE.

MONDAY

ELLEN SULLIVAN, (bond) was brought before the Bench by her assignee, for the sake of being like a bad coin, which in baseness she very much resembled, returned to that place from whence she came. SULLIVAN it seemed had in trying a manoeuvre to get back to this establishment without punishment—displayed good judgment by acting as it out of her wits, and being “one” beside herself, had done breakages enough for half-a dozen, sorely to the decent appearance of her master’s kitchen, and the convenience of his table, and at other times holding imaginary conversations with some unseen individual who acquired a great deal of loud talk to answer silent reasoning, also, fasting for a week like a monk, then eating like a none-such. Sufficient anecdotes being detailed to proVe that SULLIVAN was altogether a very cranky sort of character, she was forwarded to the Factory, a place generally admitted to be a House of Incurables.
