POLICE INTELLIGENCE.
SATURDAY.
MARGARET M’EVERY [sic], a freed woman, was arraigned upon a much similar indictment; the scene of action being the Sydney road. At the time of capture there was a gentleman in the case who was in a very perplexing situation, but contrived to make himself scarce, leaving the lady to take all the consequence of the awkward dilemma upon herself, which was three months in the third class at the factory, for being anything but an industrious woman, or person of good Moral Reputation.
