POLICE.
From the mass of important news that has poured upon us during the week, we are compelled to omit our regular Police Office Report, but the most interesting cases will be found in our pages in the shape of paragraphs.
A RUNAWAY. — CATHERINE BALDWIN, who had been absent from her assigned service at Mr. LUBESKIS’, for the last five years, was sentenced on Saturday to two months confinement in the third Class Female Factory, and afterwards to be returned to Government to serve the five years she had been absent.
