PARRAMATTA QUARTER SESSIONS

THURSDAY, JULY 4.

On the Bench with the Chairman were GILBERT ELIOTT, Esq., P. M., and M. ANDERSON, Esq., J. P.

MARY STAFFORD, (free), indicted for shoplifting, pleaded guilty. The prisoner having received an excellent character from W. IRVING, Esq., J. P., and testimony being given that when under the effects of drink, (as she was at the time of the commission of the above offence) she was partly insane, was sentenced six weeks to the Factory.
