QUARTER SESSIONS.
FRIDAY.
MARY JONES.—The name of this young lady, about six weeks since, was of rather frequent occurrence on the Police Records of the Parramatta Court. Finding that our good town was getting rather too warm for her, she sought the cooler atmosphere of Windsor. Hardly was JONES in Windsor when she, being an “artist,” commenced the practice of her profession in the taking off line, and appropriated to her own use a night cap and some stockings. The young lady pleaded her character, and said she hoped it would do something for her. The Chairman said it should, and directed six months in the Factory.
