QUARTER SESSIONS, WEDNESDAY, 4TH APRIL.—This court continued its sittings this morning. The Chairman was assisted on the Bench by G. ELIOTT, Esq., P.M., Dr. FORSTER, J. P., Dr. ANDERSON, J. P., J. BLAXLAND, Esq., J. P., and W. COX, Esq., J. P.
CATHERINE HANDLEY, free by servitude, pleaded guilty to an indictment for larceny, and was sentenced to six months at the Factory, every fourth week of which is to be passed in solitary confinement.
