SATURDAY
CATHERINE HENDERSON, a plump, squat, black-eyed, cock-nosed, good-looking gipsy, assigned to Mr. BROWNRIG, not liking such rigs, determined to run a rig of her own, and on Sunday night decamped from her service, and continued amateur-bushranging on a limited scale in the Government Domain, until apprehended by that sly old fellow FOX, who is always running after the women, and interrupting their innocent amusements. CATHERINE, who looked extremely demure all the time, mildly intimated to his worship that she had no been paid any wages since she was at Mr. BROWNRIG’s. Master BROWNRIG, who was in attendance said, he was desired by her mistress to give her a good character. Sentence—two months 3rd class Factory; first and last weeks in solitary confinement.
