WEDNESDAY, JAN. 17.—Before His Honor Mr. Justice STEPHEN.
MARY ANN FRENCH stood indicted for having, on the 20th day of April last, at Campbelltown, falsely accused DENNIS RYAN and JOHN DWYER, before DONALD McLEAN, Esq., J. P., of assaulting her and violating her person. In consequence of the absence of one of the witnesses, this case was not proceeded with, and the prisoner was remanded till another day.
