WINDSOR

SEPTEMBER 16.—The Court of Quarter Sessions was opened this morning by the Chairman, W. M. MANNING, WILLIAM COX, and H. H. KATER, Esquires.

JESSIE PEARCE, from Penrith, pleaded not guilty to having stolen two bolts of lace, a ribbon, and neck collar, from a box belonging to PATRICK RUTH HAWKER, in June last. The Jury found her guilty, and she was sentenced to be confined in the Factory for twelve months, every fourth week in solitary confinement.
