A woman assigned to MRS. FOLK, of George-street, having had leave of absence on Sunday, returned in the evening in a state of intoxication and assaulted MISS FOLK, catching hold of her by the throat, and attempted to strike her mistress, in which however she was prevented by a fellow servant. She was of course given into custody, and has since been sentenced to be confined and worked for six months in the third class of the factory.
