POLICE.
CATHERINE GRAHAM, assigned to Mr. JONES, of Campbell Town, was apprehended on Tuesday night on suspicion of being an absentee, notwithstanding her protestations that she was assigned to an inhabitant of Sydney and had leave to be out. The Bench sentenced her to be confined and worked in the third class of the Factory for two months for making a false representation to the Constable who apprehended her, and then to be forwarded to Campbell Town for the Bench there to deal with her on the charge of absconding from her service.
