QUARTER SESSIONS

SATURDAY, JAN. 17. — Before Messrs. FOSTER and WILSON. The following sentences were passed: —

ANN EVANS, larceny; 12 months, 3d class Factory.

SELINA LYNCH, larceny, 3 months, 3d class.

______ MACKAY, assault, 12 months, 3d class.

ELLIN APPIN, ditto ditto.

SARAH CARLISLE, stealing a blanket; 6 months 3d class Factory.

JOANNAH KELLY, robbing her master; one month’s imprisonment. Owing to the certifications of good character from several respectable persons in whose service she had lived, the Court was as lenient as they could be, under the circumstances.
