Evidence Type: Newspaper Report
20 June 1834

MARGARET QUINN, assigned to MRS. ROCHESTER, on the Rocks, was charged by her mistress with repeated insolence and neglect of work. On Saturday night she said she would not mind poisoning the whole house, provided she could get away from her service. The Bench acceded to her wish, by ordering her six weeks to the third class of the factory, and to be returned to Government.
