KATE KELLY,* who had been assigned to her master the amazing time of four days, was called upon to show cause why she was in the habit of using insolent remarks, &c.
KATE—Your Worship I only went out to procure some butter milk, of which I’m very fond, and when I returned I found a constable, who marched me away.
Bench—No doubt you deserved it, and from your bad character you are sentenced to the third class of the factory for two months.
