MARY ABRAHAMS was charged by her mistress with assaulting her in a most violent manner. It appeared that MARY had been directed to do some work which did not suit her taste, on which she struck her mistress with a violent blow on the mouth with a broom handle, and asked her what she thought of what. For this outrageous conduct the Bench sentenced her to six months in the factory.
