MARY CHESHIRE, a very sentimental sort of customer, who had an utter abomination of washing, bah, she stew over hot soap suds in the dog days without a glass to keep up her stamina now and then; the thing was not to be imagined for one moment, and without they fancied to come to her terms, why, that for them (snapping her fingers in her master and mistress’s face.) The washing accordingly remained in statu quo, as they declined coming to her terms. The only defence MARY attempted to offer was, that she considered she stood upon her rights. The Bench thought her rights were wrongs, and ordered her to study woman’s rights at GORDON’s school for six weeks.
