Case of Bigamy.— HANNAH STEVENS,* alias CHARLES, alias HONORA KERRIGAN, who some time since was committed by the Sydney Bench to take her trial for bigamy, was on Saturday last discharged by proclamation, in the Supreme Court on the motion of the Crown Solicitor, there not being sufficient evidence to support the charge — As both husbands claimed this frail daughter of Eve, she was directed to be sent to Gordon’s Paradise until her rightful lord and master could substantiate his claim to her.
