SYDNEY QUARTER SESSIONS

FRIDAY — SENTENCES

PATRICK SIMPSON, assault, to be imprisoned for six weeks. PETER KELLY, THOMAS WELLS, ROBERT BOARDMAN, and BENJAMIN WELLINGTON, larcenies, to be imprisoned for two months, and kept to hard labour; FRANCIS REYNOLDS larceny, to be imprisoned for three months, and kept to hard labour; THOMAS KILLAN, MICHAEL SCULLY, JOHN THOMPSON, PATRICK GALLAHER, PATRICK HAYDEN, WILLIAM KING, and RICHARD PARRY, larcenies, to be imprisoned for 6 months each, and kept to hard labour: MARY MANNAX, larceny, to be confined in the third class of the factory for eight months; JAMES SINNISTER, larceny, to be imprisoned for 9 months and kept to hard labour; WM. BAGSHAW, larceny, to be imprisoned, and kept to hard labour for 12 months; ELLEN DICKENS, larceny, to be confined in the factory for 12 months; THOS. DEVLEN, larceny, to be transported for 2 years; ELLEN McCABE, larceny, to be transported for 2 years; JOHN WILLIAMS, assault, to be imprisoned for 12 months. Several were discharged, and the Sessions terminated.
