A little smirking hussey, who more than one believed wore the breeches, was “had up” by her mistress on the score of insolence, and neglect of duty; but as it appeared witness and maid alike were bondwomen, a mittimus was advised, and issued accordingly for the latter, to that sequestered lock-up-house of penitence and sin and error—the female factory.
