A respectable inhabitant the other day applied to the Superintendent of the Female Factory, for a crown servant—a woman was tendered, who had only a short time before been sentenced by the Police Bench of Magistrates to some months confinement, for keeping a disorderly house, in the immediate neighbourhood where the applicant resided. This woman was objected to; but no further assignment was made.
