TRANSCRIBER’S NOTES: The ship is faint and illegible, but the same convict appears again in the Sydney Gaol Admissions less than one week later on 25 November 1820 as a runaway from the Factory, at which point the ship is erroneously recorded as ‘Kennedy’ (i.e. Canada). There were three potential convict women on board the Canada (4) (1817) with the same or similar surnames: ANN KENNA, JULIANA KENNA, and ANN McKENNA. ‘Elizabeth’ as the given name, therefore, may have been either incorrect or an alias. Further research required.
