TRANSCRIBER’S NOTES: This convict was transported under the name HONORA McCARTHY per Elizabeth II (1828) but by the time of the 1828 Census, she was using the name HONORA HIGGINS. No McCARTHY-HIGGINS marriage record has been located in the Colony to date, but the alias ‘HONORAH McCARTHY or HIGGINS’ was recorded in one of her gaol admissions in November 1835.
