Re: Col.l: MARY was an expiree by 1828, however, the ‘Col.l‘ abbreviation means ‘Colonial’, that is, a secondary offence committed in the Colony for which she was convicted in 1826 and sentenced to confinement in the Parramatta Female Factory.
