TRANSCRIBER’S NOTES: There was no ANN WILSON aboard Elizabeth II (1828). However, on 10 October 1828 (a mere 19 days before the Female Factory women and children were mustered for the 1828 Census), an ANN WILSON per Brothers had been committed to Sydney Gaol and thence to the first class of the Parramatta Female Factory for having been illegally at large since 1825. This ANN WILSON also went by the alias ANN MARIA ASKEW or HANNAH MARIA ASKEW.
