Police Report of MARIA BLAKE, 27 September 1826

On Monday, MARIA BLAKE, an assigned servant, accused of absenting herself from her service, for the purpose of playing an active part in the “harlot’s progress,” after which her assigned lord and master could not consent to receive her back, was ordered to  become one of the 2nd class in the Factory.
