FEMALE FACTORY
With reference to the Notice published in the “Government Gazette” of the 22nd January last, respecting Washing at the Factory, His Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified, that when articles are delivered at the Factory, and taken away again, by the owners, at their expense, the charge for Washing will be reduced from 2s per dozen to 1s 6d. These prices, however, will only apply to cases in which the entire washing of families is sent, or when the articles sent are such as to give only fair average trouble in washing or ironing. When articles only are sent which require more than ordinary care or trouble, the charge will be increased accordingly.
