State of the Factory
There are no less than nine hundred and nine (!) women confined in the Female Factory, and two hundred and two (!!) children, and one hundred and thirty nine (!!!) women are employed in nursing these children. Surely, it is no misnomer to call this establishment the Lying-in-Hospital, after the knowledge of this fact.
