Report on Female Factory, 9 October 1829

Waggon loads of frail penitents continue to replenish the Parramatta factory from Sydney weekly. On Friday the “pure things” expected to have a peep at the races; but no, the inexorable waggoner “drove on” with an endless “gee hup,” till the vehicle attained her destination.
