The female cargo by the Edward were landed on Friday, looking generally very well after their voyage, and also in high spirits at setting foot upon dry land. Some had speedy notice to quit for their several services, and a few were brought into the Police Office and “turned in” to government before an hour. We hear there is a considerable overplus of females in the factory, there being but few applications in proportion to what has generally been when prison ships come in.
