Report on Female Factory, 28 November 1828

The female prisoners, as well as the free women by the last prison ship, were landed in the forenoon of Wednesday, and partly assigned away to persons having families, in pursuance of their respective applications for that purpose. About sixty were packed off during the day to Parramatta, to be immured in the factory.
