“THURSDAY, AUG. 31.—Joseph Campbell and Mary Campbell, his wife, prisoners of the crown, and John Jones, free, for grossly abusing the wife of Serjeant Mason, and with setting two large dogs upon her, thereby endangering her life. Sentenced, John Campbell to be confined on bread and water; Mary Campbell to the Factory for 3 months; and John Jones to find security for his good behaviour for 12 months.”
