Ellen Davenport (1838–1838)

ELLEN DAVENPORT was a convict’s child who was born at and died at the Parramatta Female Factory aged one month old. She was the child of convict CHARLOTTE DAVENPORT née PLATT and an unnamed father. However, while we cannot outright assume it on the basis of the baptism and burial records alone, ELLEN may have been the daughter of CHARLOTTE’s husband SAMUEL DAVENPORT, himself a convict per Asia I (1) (1820).
