Bridget Learney

BRIDGET LEARNEY was a convict woman who was incarcerated at the Parramatta Female Factory.

BRIDGET LEARNEY was charged that she was of a very bad temper; that she was insubordinate, and that the men of the farm were, as in old times, bewitched and rendered in a manner useless. The last woman sent to the factory from this house, was of an opposite character, her mistress did not accuse her being too familiar with the men, she had a higher respect for herself. — Three months in the probationary class.
